5 Steps to Replacing Your Concrete Driveway

Demolition & Excavation:

  • Removal: Carefully remove the existing concrete using specialized equipment (jackhammer, skid steer ect).

Excavation: Dig out the underlying base material to the appropriate depth for proper drainage and support.

Base Preparation:

  • Compaction: Thoroughly compact the excavated area, Bring in new material if needed using compacted gravel or crushed stone then Compaction using a compactor to ensure a stable foundation.

Grading: Level the base to the desired slope for proper drainage, typically a slight incline away from the house.

The Pour: The concrete is mixed and poured into the prepared area, ensuring proper thickness and leveling. Concrete to be Finished to Customers Specs, Broomed, Stamped, Stained, ect. The concrete is allowed to cure for at least 28 days before sealing your concrete driveway.
